The new CE certification standard EN 60335-2-15:2002+A1 for liquid heaters will be replaced by EN 60335-2-15:2002+A1+A2 from August 1, 2013.
EN 60335-2-15 is applicable to the safety of liquid heaters for household and similar purposes. This standard is the harmonized standard of the Low Voltage Directive (2006/95/EC). Domestic liquid heaters within the scope of LVD Directive must meet the requirements of this standard before they can be affixed with CE mark.
The STS can provide consultation and evaluation for your products to ensure that they meet the requirements of the new standards, thus reducing the economic risk that your products may be banned due to non-compliance with the standards, and even the risk that your products may be fined due to non-compliance with EU laws.
Due to the additional requirements in EN 60335-2-15: 2002+A1+A2, the products tested and evaluated according to EN 60335-2-15: 2002+A1 may no longer meet the requirements of regulations or standards.

EN 60335-2-15:2002+A1+A2+A11 must be used together with the new version of the general requirements EN 60335-1:2012. The products tested and evaluated according to EN 60335-2-15:2002+A1+A2 may no longer meet the requirements of regulations or standards.
Warning sign requirements for overheated surfaces (according to 11)
● The switch (specified in 22.40) sign shall be distinguished from other signs in terms of shape, size, material and position, and must indicate that the product has started to work through tactile feedback or sound+visual feedback
● Warning classification requirements for children's use: pressure cookers, etc. shall not be used by children; Coffee pots, electric kettles, etc. can be used by children over 8 years old under supervision; Hot bottle dispenser and yogurt machine can be used by children over 3 years old under supervision
