On August 30, 2013, it was reported that ECHA issued the final review report after the public consulted on the draft report of phthalate DINP and DIDP and the ECHA Risk Assessment Committee commented on it.

    The final review report pointed out that the existing provisions in Annex 17 of REACH Regulation that restrict the use of substances in toys and children's products that can be placed in the mouth of children should not be cancelled. ECHA believes that no further risk management measures are needed to reduce the exposure of DINP and DIDP to children.
